About the role:


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team based in Mickleham. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of site process maintenance, contractor management, engineering, electrical services, and providing technical support. You will ensure our systems adhere to TGA regulations and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for ethylene oxide and gamma irradiation sterilisation chambers.
  • Set up and maintain predictive maintenance systems for sterilisation equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation governing operational processes.
  • Collaborate with various managers and engineers to plan, direct, and oversee equipment installation, testing, operation, and maintenance.
  • Provide training and technical support to internal teams and customers.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed, consistent with your skills and qualifications.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Electrical/Electronics Trade Certificate.
  • "A" Grade electrical license.
  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical/engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in gamma irradiation, ethylene oxide environments, medical devices, or healthcare manufacturing.
  • Valid driver's license.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of GMP manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in automation, electricity, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Flexibility, teamwork, and a safety-first mindset.
  • Willingness to travel interstate as required.
