About the role:
An exciting opportunity has opened for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading Australian food and beverage manufacturer based in Melbourne's South East. This role supports the afternoon shift, and involves troubleshooting and maintaining high-tech processing, filling, and packaging equipment in an automated environment. Occasional weekend overtime may be required for planned and unplanned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and pneumatic equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair automated production machinery
- Assist with fault-finding and process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Work independently and as part of a team to support manufacturing operations
What we're looking for:
- Trade qualification in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in an automated production environment
- Familiarity with Krones, KHS, Tetra, or Alfa Laval equipment.
- Previous experience in FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing.
