An exciting role with a globally recognised industry leader currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Corporate Accountant's position will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial & corporate accounting activities on both a domestic and international scale.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Provide insights to shareholders, executives, and stakeholders through key corporate dashboards.
- Manage monthly accounting for non-operational entities, including reconciliation and analysis.
- Complete all external reporting requirements efficiently.
- Empower the finance team to optimize reporting platforms.
- Manage the annual external audit process across the group.
- Prepare end-of-month reporting packs for the CFO and management teams.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements.
- Manage EOM journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Report on working capital and cash management.
- Confident in consolidation processes and elimination.
- Manage intercompany reporting and transactions.
- Deliver statutory accounts and relevant controls for non-operational entities.
- Assist in budget and forecast processes, focusing on consolidation and reporting.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Accounting degree
- CA or CPA qualified
- Experience in large companies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
