Due to growth,they are looking for a Conveyancing Administrator to join their leading Real Estate practice in Melbourne. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting their Conveyancing team, particularly in managing trust monies and ensuring smooth transactions.
Your Role Will Include:
- Overseeing the process of trust fund management—tracking deposits, issuing receipts, and handling any unidentified payments.
- Liaising with the Business Finance Trust Accounting Team on trust accounting procedures.
- Managing administrative tasks such as matter openings, maintenance, and billing.
- Maintaining detailed records for off-plan development projects, including deposit tracking and tax file number management.
- Providing seamless support to licensed conveyancers with document preparation and case coordination.
- Keeping client databases (e.g., InterAction) up to date and organised.
- Experience as a legal secretary within a Real Estate or Property team.
- Background in conveyancing support, particularly off-plan conveyancing (preferred).
- Familiarity with trust fund processes within a legal setting.
- A sharp eye for detail and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Aderant Expert (a plus but not essential).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
