Partnering with our client in the corporate services space, we are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team and work alongside the Head of Commercial, Innovation & Tenders to oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts; including preparation, negotiation, coordination and execution.

You will be looking after a mixture of direct and indirect contracts to include; commercial leasing, technical services, RFP’s, tenders and advertising to name just a few.  These will vary from $100,000 to $1M+, and your focus will be on marking milestones, mitigating risk, reviewing volume discounts and ensuring there is commercial viability into the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms are clear and beneficial to the organisation
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop contract terms that align with company goals and policies
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate potential risk
  • Maintain a comprehensive contracts database
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for contract administration and management
  • Prepare regular reports on contract status, performance, and compliance for senior management
  • Keep abreast of changes in contract law and industry best practices, adjusting company policies as necessary
To be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies or related field
  • Solid experience across contract management within the services industry
  • Strong understanding of contract law, leases, terms and conditions, and experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts
  • High level of financial acumen
  • Ability to advise and work closely with a large number of stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to always keep our clients business at front of mind
  • Exposure to tender / bid management would be highly beneficial
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work cross functionally
