Based in Melbourne's South East, our client is an ASX listed FMCG organisation who is currently enjoying a period of substantial growth and expansion. After significant success both domestically and internationally, they are now looking for a high calibre Commercial Finance Manager to join the team to join for an initial 6 months. 

The role:
Reporting to the CFO, you will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 

• Managing forecasting processes, including customer and product volume analysis, cost of goods, sales pricing, and trade spend.
• Supporting the S&OP process, preparing business review materials, and analysing budget variances.
• Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring cost efficiency and financial discipline.
• Leading cost optimisation initiatives across the business.
• Providing detailed financial reporting on key metrics, including sales performance and gross margin analysis.
• Preparing domestic and international sales reports, with insights and commentary.

The successful applicant will be: 

• 10+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, with a CA/CPA qualification.
• Prior experience in FMCG or manufacturing industries 
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to extract key insights.
• A commercial mindset, with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
• The ability to communicate financial insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent time management and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
