About the Role
As the Head of Commercial Finance, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and decision-making process. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and the broader leadership team to provide commercial insights, influence business strategy, and support M&A activities. This is a highly visible role with significant impact, requiring a proactive and hands-on approach.
The Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Leadership teams, providing financial insights and commercial recommendations.
- Lead commercial finance activities, including pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and sales forecasting.
- Support M&A initiatives, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition performance tracking.
- Develop and implement financial models to assess business opportunities and drive strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and business performance analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial acumen across the business.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the commercial finance team.
- Proven experience in a senior commercial finance role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in M&A, financial modelling, and commercial decision-making.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strategic mindset and commercial acumen.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience developing high-performing teams.
