Australia’s most loved and iconic retail brand are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Finance Business Partner to join on a permanent basis to support operational and commercial teams (Merch, marketing and sales teams). You will partner with the senior executives and the business to understand sales drivers, profit improvement, cost optimisation and business growth working across all sales channels including Retail, Wholesale and Online.
The Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the main duties will include:
- Deliver insightful analysis and drive regular business performance reviews
- Work closely with key stakeholders to identify key issues / solutions of the business
- Review and analyse business processes to identify inefficiencies, plan and implement improvements
- Work with stakeholders to ensure reporting and commentary is effective and insightful for decision making.
- Provide support on budget and planning
- Responsible for supporting on the overall forecast process
- Working with key stakeholders to ascertain cost control measures
- Identify key drivers of profit and opportunities for business improvement
- Develop and implement process improvements to ensure a standard, lean and efficient operating model
- Clear and effective communication across multiple groups of stakeholders
- Work across Finance to implement best practices and improved ways of working, systems, and process
The successful applicant profile
- CA, CPA and/or MBA qualified professional
- Experience in a commercial Finance Business Partner style role - supporting wider business and snr stakeholders - divisional heads and GM level
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or retail environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
