Our client are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to support their dynamic team. This role is crucial for analysing market trends, developing strategic insights, and influencing key business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (locally and globally) to drive commercial excellence and ensure alignment with our long-term goals
The responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and working closely with Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for providing commercial expertise to the business with a focus on strategic planning, analysis and business partnering. More specifically, your role will include:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Building financial / valuation models, investment proposals, risk assessments and business case documents
- Develop and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on data-driven insights.
- Monitor and evaluate competitor activities and market trends to inform strategic planning.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align strategies and drive execution.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and actionable insights.
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and market positioning.
You will be a CA/CPA/CIMA or similarly qualified accounting professional and a commercially astute individual. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a proven track record of strong commercial business partnering and have the ability to effectively communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders. Prior experience in an FMCG/Retail or Product based environment will be considered highly advantageous.
