About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Head of Finance, you will play a key role in providing financial and operational insights to optimise procurement, supplier management, and inventory control. This position is responsible for delivering data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with operations managers across multiple locations, helping to enhance business efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and interpret data from MYOB Exo and manipulate using Excel to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop financial models and business cases to support commercial and operational decisions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for supply chain operations
• Provide insights into supply chain, inventory, procurement, and operational performance.
• Partner with non-finance stakeholders to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Work closely with senior leadership to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to improve inventory management and working capital efficiency
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance dashboards to the Department Leads and MD
• Assist Head of Finance with preparation on Monthly Management reporting pack

About You

• Strong Excel skills – ability to build financial models and work with large data sets.
• Experience in a commercially focused finance or analyst role, ideally within a distribution, supply chain, or product-based business.
• Experience working with large volumes of stock and inventory 
• Ability to engage and influence non-finance stakeholders, translating data into meaningful insights.
• A proactive and analytical mindset with a strong commercial acumen.
