Our client is an entrepreneurial and diversified wholesale, manufacturing and retail group with operations throughout Asia Pacific, and USA. With a mandate for growth (acquisition and organic) including service diversification and geographical expansion, this represents a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially savvy Chief Financial Officer to support strategic business objectives.

About the Position

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) you will be responsible for leading the finance function to the next phase of company growth.  This will include business partnering, strategic planning, acquisition support, cashflow forecasting, financial and management reporting and leading an ERP implementation program.  

The CFO will also lead all financing functions including managing banking facilities, relationships with brokers and institutional investors to facilitate funding for future funding needs and M&A activity.  In addition, you will have full ownership of the finance function, its clients, suppliers and other team members across HR, Sourcing and IT.  

About the Person

We are seeking an experienced CFO, who is familiar with either a listed and/or IPO environment.  Furthermore, you will be commercially astute, be capable of leading significant change programs and ensuring compliance and insightful management reporting is produced to a high standard.  In addition, you will have been exposed to M&A activities including integrations, raising debt and equity funding.  Your leadership style will be based on active listening, agility, integrity, and empowering others. A CA/CPA qualification is mandatory and a post qualification in a relevant discipline will be viewed favourably.
