The role
- Oversee a large and diverse product portfolio where you will leverage market insights, customer trends, and product performance to optimise product offerings, enhance profitability, and improve customer satisfaction
- Support new product development projects from concept to launch through collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales
- Procurement & supplier management including sourcing, navigating global supply chains and negotiating with local and overseas manufacturers
- Responsible for the efficient management of inventory through enhancing operational efficiency, optimising product costs, and supply chain efficiency
- Quality assurance through managing supplier performance and addressing any performance issues
- International travel (2 or 3 times per annum) is required
- 7+ years of experience in a high-quality procurement, category management or supply chain planning environment ideally in hardware, construction, engineering, FMCG or a similar industry
- Degree qualifications in business, commerce or supply chain required
- Analytical mindset and data-driven, strong Microsoft Excel capability
- Diverse skill set with proven stakeholder and project management experience to coordinate complex projects across all levels of the organisation
- Ability to work 5 days per week in office located in South East Sydney
