Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is pivotal in driving business growth by managing inbound leads, consulting with clients, and selling novated leases. The Business Development Manager will engage with both new and existing employer groups, working to educate, activate, and expand participation in novated leasing programs. This position requires a consultative sales approach, building strong relationships with clients and employer partners to identify their needs and offer tailored leasing solutions. The successful candidate will be a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong ability to influence and negotiate.
Duties
- Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, and other channels.
- Qualify leads to assess clients' needs, preferences, and financial situations.
- Provide expert consultation on novated leasing options and benefits.
- Educate employer groups on novated leasing through presentations and sessions.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and complies with regulations.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and changes in novated leasing.
- Drive business growth by signing on new employer groups.
- Strengthen relationships with existing employer groups to unlock further deals.
- Assist with employer group activations and engagement initiatives.
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the Novated Leasing or financial services industry.
- Experience in consultative selling with a customer-first approach.
- Strong understanding of novated leasing principles and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and relevant software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
