Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for system integrations and stakeholder engagement? This is an exciting opportunity to lead the integration of a cutting-edge research management tool with an existing enterprise system. You’ll play a key role in driving process improvements, facilitating workshops, and ensuring the successful delivery of a streamlined and efficient solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, including research academics, to gather and document detailed requirements.
- Analyse existing workflows and map processes to align with the capabilities of the new system.
- Identify and address gaps between current workflows and the new system, promoting adoption and enhanced functionality.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and build consensus, especially with individuals resistant to change or accustomed to legacy systems.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including functional and technical specifications, to support the integration process.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring requirements are accurately captured and implemented.
- Proven experience in business analysis, particularly in system integration projects involving ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft or similar).
- Strong process mapping and documentation skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality outputs.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups, including those in research or education sectors.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including leading workshops and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to drive change, navigate resistance, and promote best practices within established processes.
