Role Summary:
A fast-growing investment management firm is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to lead a technology transformation. This hands-on role will involve architecting and scaling Azure infrastructure, documenting data flows, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate has experience in financial services and will support IT projects across investments, operations, and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage Azure-based data pipelines.
• Architect and scale Data Lakehouse infrastructure for efficient data processing.
• Implement data management solutions, including data integration, quality, and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable data solutions.
• Optimize data storage and ensure compliance with security regulations.
• Stay updated on Azure services and industry best practices.
• Document data catalogues, flows, and technical processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Azure, ETL tools, SQL, and Python.
• Proficiency in Azure services (Data Lake Storage, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory).
• Knowledge of Data Lakehouse architecture and data governance.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with Power BI and other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with Databricks and data warehousing.
