I have been engaged to recruit an exciting permanent opportunity has become available in a industry leading organisation based in North Ryde. This role is a Assistant Accountant and would suit a strong up & coming in the Accounting field giving you exposure to reconciliations, month end, reporting and operations of a complex, multi-site organisation and reports into the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform the weekly bank reconciliations
- Perform the accounting entries to reflect the daily banking entries
- Preparation of the Profit & Loss Reports
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of financial results to ensure accurate accounting and cost centre allocations
- Prepare and post month end accruals and prepayments.
- Strong focus on process improvement and development of efficient work-flows.
- Assist in backup for AP/AR as required.
- Fixed Asset Register Maintenance
- Effective Communicator - proactively seeks stakeholder views, communicates with all stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Critical Thinker - Ability to think outside the box for complex problems
- Exquisite Attention to detail
- A Bachelor's of Accounting Degree + 12 months experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills (V-lookups/Pivot Tables)
