Our client is a large global manufacturing business looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their large accounts team. This role is best suited to someone who has experience in full function Accounts Receivable working in a high volume environment using a large ERP system. The tenure of the role is a 12 month contract. The organization is located in Mascot and hybrid working arrangements are available for the ideal candidate after an initial training period.
The Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable Process: Manage the full end-to-end AR process, including invoicing, payment processing, and monitoring overdue accounts. Ensure timely collection of outstanding balances and handle disputes or discrepancies effectively.
- Cash Handling: Accurately count and reconcile daily cash transactions.
- Reconciliations: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Data Entry: Maintain precise records of all transactions, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
- System Utilization: Utilize for financial processing and reporting.
- Internal/External Communication: Liaise with internal departments and external partners to resolve AR issues and ensure smooth financial operations
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance role.
- Excel Skills: Proficient in Excel, with experience in V-look ups and Pivot tables.
- System Knowledge: Experience with SAP or large ERP system.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to managing financial records and reconciling accounts.
