We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join a dynamic team in Perth. This is an immediate start position, offered as an 8-week contract with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
- Prepare and submit the monthly Business Activity Statement (BAS) on time
- Process payroll using Xero, ensuring the timely and accurate disbursement of salaries
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements
- Offer general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the business
- Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable
- Experience in preparing and submitting BAS
- Proficient in Xero for payroll processing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Available to start immediately
