We are proud to partner with a state government department to recruit a dedicated and experienced AO5 Business Support Officer within the Infrastructure Services Division space.

As the Business Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, timely, and professional secretarial and administrative support to the team. You will also be responsible for overseeing the administrative activities within a dynamic work unit, ensuring seamless operations and optimal resource utilisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of brief materials, documents, and routine correspondence
  • High-level, accurate word processing and typing
  • Lead high-level planning efforts to advance the implementation of current projects. 
  • Collaborate in teams to develop innovative and practical solutions related to infrastructure, planning, asset management, or project-related services.
  • Support the preparation, analysis, and presentation of data to ensure consistent and accurate reporting on relevant activities.
  • Oversee operational matters to achieve identified goals and meet project timelines.
  • Provide secretariat support to facilitate effective project or program governance.
  • Draft Ministerial and general correspondence, briefings, reports, and submissions on project-related matters while managing records for the work team.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to support daily operations.
  • Contribute professional insights to continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practices.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies, guidelines, and procedures related to infrastructure, planning, asset management, and project activities.
