About the role: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Document Controller / Senior Administrator to join a collaborative team on a significant construction project. This role is pivotal in managing project documentation, upholding organisational standards, and providing vital support to busy professionals in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will work closely with a vibrant and diverse team, leveraging document control systems to ensure seamless coordination. Acting as the backbone of the team, you’ll establish benchmarks, streamline processes, and enhance overall team efficiency. Key responsibilities: Reporting to the Project Manager, your varied role will include: Upholding company safety policies and ensuring compliance with OH&S legislative requirements. Adhering to Quality, OH&S, and Environmental Policies and Procedures. Providing administrative support for projects, including document management, logging, distribution, and archiving. Maintaining registers such as materials and drawing logs. Managing project documentation and assisting with QA coordination in line with the project QA plan. Preparing reports as required. Skills / Experience: The successful candidate will have: Experience in the building, construction, or related industries; however this is not essential Proficiency in administrative tasks, including correspondence, filing, document control, and minute-taking. Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a willingness to adapt to new software. Strong organisational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail. A collaborative approach and excellent communication skills to build effective relationships. The ability to perform under pressure and deliver results. A professional, mature, and polished presentation. Strong problem-solving and logical thinking abilities.
