Known for hiring and retaining top talent they offer a supportive working environment. Our client is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to join their team on a 12 month FTC to permanent basis.
The role is based in North Sydney with 2 days working from home and located very close to the metro/train station. We have previously placed candidates in this organisation before and the feedback has been very positive on the role and culture.
The Role
Reporting through to the Payroll Manager, your tasks will include:
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing on a fortnightly basis
- Processing and calculating superannuation, payroll tax/PAYG
- Month/year end closing
- Assisting with key payroll projects
- Identifying process improvements
- Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
- Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
- Partnering and developing strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
- Working collaboratively and as a team across departments.
- Assist Payroll Manager in mentoring the wide payroll team.
You will have prior experience in a similar Senior position, along with the following attributes:
- Knowledge of multiple awards/EBAs
- High level analytical skills
- Excellent communications skills and team-player
- Strong working knowledge Humanforce is idea
