Role Overview:
Based in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, this full-time Transport Allocator role will coordinate daily fleet movements for a small team of MC drivers handling container work across the metro area.
You’ll be based at a key operational site, working closely with the transport supervisor, drivers, and admin support to plan and manage each day’s work. The role involves using key systems like Containerchain and 1-Stop to allocate tasks, book slots, and communicate with both internal teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate export container deliveries with the fleet to ensure all are delivered before the terminal cut-off times
- Book time slots and plan import container collections
- Allocate daily FCL and MT container movements across the Sydney metro area
- Liaise with drivers and supervisors to ensure accurate execution of the plan
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and timing
- Monitor live progress and resolve operational issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate records in Excel and transport management systems
- 1–2 years’ experience in a transport allocation or coordination role
- Familiarity with Port Botany, Sydney suburbs, and key delivery routes
- Experience with Containerchain and/or 1-Stop systems preferred
- Comfortable working with drivers and solving problems on the go
- Reliable, organised, and confident communicating with different teams
- Basic Excel skills and a willingness to learn the internal TMS

- Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm
