About the role

This role is designed for an accomplished Product Technical Manager to lead technical strategy and performance for an innovative portfolio of products across Australia and New Zealand. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage technical development, support production, and oversee a dedicated team of professionals in a NATA-accredited laboratory.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and optimizing technical specifications for product advancements, ensuring local and international standards are met.
• Providing technical insights for marketing initiatives and collaborating with sales teams on client engagements and technical training.
• Leading safety initiatives, process improvements, and root cause analysis to maintain the highest standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in textiles, science, or engineering.
• 10+ years in technical operations, ideally in textiles or plastics.
• Proven leadership in establishing and implementing technical strategies and team goals.
• Experience with ISO 17025 and lean manufacturing is highly valued.
