In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality technical support, ensuring the reliability of life-changing equipment for healthcare providers. You’ll enjoy significant autonomy, traveling across the country, managing your own schedule, and building strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site technical repairs and preventative maintenance on cutting-edge medical equipment.
  • Deliver responsive and effective technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Take full ownership of your territory, including scheduling, booking travel, and accommodation.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support on site with your clients, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Manage individual inventory, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Identify and escalate gaps in processes or procedures, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on technical requirements and best practices.
  • Support and contribute to maintaining compliance with quality standards such as ISO 13485 and AS/NZS 3551.

Role Requirements:
  • 3+ years previous experience as a field service engineer for complex / technical products
  • Proficient in managing and using hand, power, mechanical, and electrical tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective external client relationships.
  • Effective time management and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) and adapt to a dynamic schedule.
  • A logical, analytical approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to learn and apply new systems and processes efficiently.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO 13485 or similar) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
