Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site technical repairs and preventative maintenance on cutting-edge medical equipment.
- Deliver responsive and effective technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Take full ownership of your territory, including scheduling, booking travel, and accommodation.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical support on site with your clients, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Manage individual inventory, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate stock records.
- Identify and escalate gaps in processes or procedures, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on technical requirements and best practices.
- Support and contribute to maintaining compliance with quality standards such as ISO 13485 and AS/NZS 3551.
Role Requirements:
- 3+ years previous experience as a field service engineer for complex / technical products
- Proficient in managing and using hand, power, mechanical, and electrical tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective external client relationships.
- Effective time management and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) and adapt to a dynamic schedule.
- A logical, analytical approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to learn and apply new systems and processes efficiently.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO 13485 or similar) is an advantage.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
