We are seeking a dedicated and professional Speech Pathologist for our client based in North West Melbourne.
Position Overview:
As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing speech, language, and communication disorders. You will work collaboratively with clients and their families to develop personalised therapy plans that promote effective communication and improved functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in clients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide therapy sessions to clients, using a range of techniques and strategies to address their specific needs.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and therapy sessions.
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of speech pathology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology or a related field.
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in assessing and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
