Our client is a leading multinational organisation with offices based in Melbourne's CBD. They are seeking a like minded individual to join their supportive team in an autonomous payroll officer position (with supporting backup).
The Responsibilities
The duties of the role will consist of the following; however not exclusive to:
- Processing a small full-function payroll
- Responding to payroll related queries
- Processing superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG
- Understanding and interpreting differing EBAs and Awards
- Dealing with salary packaging
- Assisting with taxation for Expatriates
- Other ad hoc payroll related duties
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will posses the following attributes; but not limited to the following:
- Has previous experience within the payroll space
- Previous experience in a full-function payroll position
- Has a high attention to detail
- Is seeking further growth and development with the payroll space
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
