Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the external financial reporting for the group, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
- Provide expert technical accounting advice to business units on key transactions and reporting matters.
- Oversee the preparation of high-quality financial reports, liaising with external auditors and stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely information.
- Lead, motivate, and coach a large cross-functional team through complex reporting deadlines.
- Build strong relationships with business units and provide practical solutions to accounting and reporting challenges.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of processes and the quality of financial reporting outputs.
- CA/CPA accreditation with 10+ years relevant experience
- Large ASX listed company experience in financial reporting
- Big-4, mid-tier Chartered background preferred
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing large teams through demanding reporting cycles
