This role provides critical financial insights, reporting, and support across the business. The Senior Management Accountant will play a key role in driving commercial success through accurate financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and partnering with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead monthly reporting, business unit analysis, and cash flow performance reviews.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain project budget models, contribute to quarterly forecasts, and support strategic financial planning.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with senior leaders to provide insights that drive operational efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to financial system enhancements and reporting tools to optimise business performance.
- Audit & Compliance: Support external audits, prepare reconciliations, and assist in board reporting.
- CPA or CA qualification
- Strong management accounting and financial modelling skills
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Exposure to the Mining / Resources or Construction sector
- Minimum 5 years of Commercial experience
