About the role
Reporting to the FP&A Manager and supporting the Finance Director, this newly created Senior FP&A Analyst role will join a strong finance function based in Geelong, Victoria. This is a senior role overseeing a small team that will deliver structure, control and change in a fast-paced environment.   
  
My client is looking for all the usual requirements for a FP&A professional, including delivery of Group reporting to overseas parent, commercial reporting and analysis, involvement in integrating newly acquired businesses and working with both finance and commercial teams to ensure continuous improvement of decision making.   
The Finance Director and FP&A Manager are also offering the successful candidate the opportunity to be involved in some exciting projects. Firstly, completing a review and uplift of current management reporting across the group, secondly, the group’s strategy is to continue growth via acquisition, the successful candidate will play a key role on the project team driving this.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role are: 
  
  • Managing the month end cycle for IPA Group Entities
  • Deliver reporting to CRH group and manage all queries from global head office
  • Weekly Sales and Mid-Month Trading Update
  • Management Reporting and Analysis (setting timetables and oversight of the Management Accounting team)
  • Ensuring compliance with CRH policies and timeframes for reporting
  • Supporting ERP enhancement projects as related to FP&A
  • Developing FP&A reporting for recent and future acquired businesses
  • Driving internal business controls and improvement projects 
  
Skills and Experience

You are a CA/CPA qualified finance professional with a strong track record in FP&A. The successful candidate will have experience within multifaced and complex organisations with an ability to engage and communicate strongly with a variety of stakeholders. Experience delivering FP&A capability, group reporting, commercial analysis and uplifting reporting, systems and controls is a must.
  
Working knowledge of USGAAP and experience working in Manufacturing or FMCG is highly advantageous.
