We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Financial Accountant to join a leading manufacturing company located in Melbourne's South-East. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation committed to excellence. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing the financial operations to ensure timely, accurate reporting and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and relevant regulations.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Maintain and update accounting systems and financial reports to provide accurate data for management and stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis against the budget and forecast.
• Review and enhance internal controls, driving continuous improvements across financial processes.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulators to ensure audit and tax compliance.

This dynamic environment requires a strong technical accounting understanding (CA/CPA qualified or working towards), ideally gained within a product-based industry. You will need strong communication skills and have the ability to develop strong professional relationships with various stakeholders across the organisation. Experience working with Dynamics 365 is advantageous.
