About the Role
An exciting immediate start role with a global Software company currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. The Senior Financial Accountant will take on a wide range of key responsibilities. Such as, ensuring compliance with annual statutory audit requirements, executing an accurate and timely month-end close process, preparing budget-to-actual reports, driving process and system improvements, and contributing to monthly management reporting.
The Essential Requirements
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Experience in a Financial Accountant / Senior Financial Accountant Role.
- Management of the full accounting and month-end processes
- Assist with managing the general ledger including the review of various monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to ensure deadlines are met for quarterly financial results presentations
- Business partner with key divisional teams on financial results
- Intercompany reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare and submit the BAS, IAS and FBT for the Group
- Assist in annual statutory audit by preparing the necessary account reconciliations and liaising with the external auditor.
- Monthly overhead analysis and commentary
- Experience working with USGAAP is highly desirable
- Ad-hoc projects as and when required
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency
The successful applicant with have
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail and have worked in a large, complex & highly-dynamic organisation previously.
