Our client is a well-established Energy / Manufacturing business with a large Australian presence. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of a large finance team. This is a technical role that will involve modelling and strong data manipulation.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data- including performance metrics, modeling and market trends to assist with key business decisions.
- Lead month-end close processes and deliver insightful reporting to support decision-making.
- Support the annual budgeting process, working closely with key stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Drive ongoing enhancements in financial processes through data-driven insights and industry best practices, optimizing operational efficiency.
- Provide performance insights, analysis, and recommendations to internal stakeholders to support decision-making and drive business performance.
- Adhoc requests.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Experience in data analytics and financial modeling.
- Strong experience in financial accounting standards.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience with Power BI or TM1 (Desired but not essential).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
