Headquartered in Melbourne, they are seeking a technically strong Cost Accountant to be a part of their team. 

• Define the most efficient production flow for each SKU to optimise time and resource allocation.
• Develop a structured costing model to standardise pricing, track margins and support scalability.
•  Create detailed BOMs for each product to track material usage and ensure cost accuracy.
• Establish clear workflows and SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency as the business grows.
• Monitoring inventory costs, ensuring accurate valuation and minimise inefficiencies. 
• Analyse production costs, operational expenses and overhead to identify areas for cost reduction and improvements.  

To be successful in your application, you will be degree qualified with 4+ years Trade/Cost Accounting experience. You will have sound working knowledge of Excel, and ideally Xero. You will have strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct variances.
