About the Role

Are you an experienced finance professional with a deep understanding of Accounts Payable and Receivable processes? Join a well-established, high-performing finance team as a Senior Business Services Lead where your technical expertise and process knowledge will directly support smooth financial operations across a major listed organisation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on with finance systems and transactions, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong stakeholder engagement across all things transactional finance.


Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Business Services Manager, you’ll:
  • Act as the subject matter expert across payables, receivables, purchasing, credit cards, fixed deals and manual invoice processes.
  • Support the delivery of timely and accurate financial processing, resolving complex transactional issues where needed.
  • Provide guidance and day-to-day support to Business Services Officers, without formal team management responsibilities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across finance, procurement, stores and supply chain to investigate and resolve queries.
  • Assist in documenting procedures and support the rollout of a new ERP system.
  • Help drive compliance with accounting policies and financial controls to minimise cost and revenue leakage.

About You:
  • At least 5 years' experience in a transactional finance or shared services environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of end-to-end AP/AR processes with Accounts Payable being a must have
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.
  • Comfortable working with multiple systems and navigating process change (ERP implementation experience highly regarded).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Prior experience using AP21 and/or Netsuite is highly regarded
