Multi-Billion dollar international FMCG retail company looking to add to their Financial Accounting team due to internal growth. This role requires someone with Inventory/Stock as well as SAP experience to be able to hit the ground running.
Our client is open to experienced candidates as well as Assistant Accountants who are looking to take the next step in their career. Candidates must be available to start immediately (1 week max.)
The Role
This immediate start contract will commence for a 6 month period, with a view to extend and potential permanent opportunities available. You will work within a newly formed specialist financial accounting team supporting multiple projects. Key duties include:
- Monitoring inventory and cost of goods in SAP.
- Costing and pricing GR/GI process in SAP.
- Identifying and investigating discrepancies - partnering with multiple departments to resolve and reconcile.
- Month end GL clearing.
- Inventory related year end tasks.
- Performing revaluation and adjustments.
- Consultation with various stakeholders for process improvements.
- Inventory and/or stock experience AND SAP is a must
- Experience in a Financial Accountant, Accountant or Assistant Accountant role
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Own vehicle and drivers license (location hard to access via public transport)
