Sharp & Carter Healthcare is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a hospital based in Regional Victoria for short-term contract roles. About this Role:
As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will play a vital role in providing advanced nursing care to critically ill patients. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and execute patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes in a high-pressure setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality critical care in the ICU, monitoring and assessing patient conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, allied health professionals, and other nurses to provide comprehensive care.
- Communicate patient status and progress to the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Review diagnostic results and adjust care plans as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in a ICU Unit.
- AHPRA registration with no restrictions.
