Sharp & Carter is looking for Registered and Clinical Midwives with clinical experience in any aspect of midwifery care—Antenatal, Postnatal, Birth Suite, or SCN for it's regional hospital in Victoria.
About this Role:
As a Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in ante-natal, post-natal, and general wards. You will work closely with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and deliver appropriate care in a respectful, confidential environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, interviews, and examinations.
- Identify potential or existing problems and discuss care plans with patients and families.
- Provide post-natal exercises, education, and domiciliary midwifery visits.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor patient progress, review diagnostics, and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Facilitate smooth patient discharges and ensure post-hospital care needs are met.
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in a Maternity Unit.
- Full working rights in Australia
- AHPRA registration with no restrictions.
- Fixed-term contracts for 3, 6, or 9 months.
- Full-time hours with competitive casual pay rates.
- Accommodation provided for the duration of the contract.
- A $1000 bonus for every successful completion of a 3-month contract.
- Referral bonus of up to $350 for successful referrals.
