They are looking for a dedicated QA Coordinator to join their Melbourne team and support their mission to deliver premium, safe, and nutritious food products.
About the role
The QA Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring products meet stringent quality and safety standards. Reporting to the QA Manager, you will work closely with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to implement and maintain quality assurance processes, oversee regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
As a QA Coordinator you will oversee quality checks across production to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and regulatory standards, manage internal and external audits, and document product testing for quality assurance. They will handle customer complaints, implement corrective actions, support staff training on QA protocols, and maintain QA documentation. Additionally, they will work with R&D to ensure new products meet quality standards.
Skills and experience
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in applied science or science with a major in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field.
- At least minimum 1-2 years’ experience in food manufacturing operations, QA or innovation.
- High-level knowledge of food microbiology, root cause analysis, and change management.
- Strong knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
- Ability to work with meat products.
- Strong computer and systems skills.
- Have an open mindset to learning about new quality functions.
