About the Role
This is a permanent causal position with the business. As the Assistant QA/QC Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the wider Quality Team in overseeing the entirety of the site's Quality Management System. Your primary objective is to maintain uniformity in systems and approaches, while ensuring that the company's standards align with TGA regulations and other industry norms. You will be directly reporting into the QA/QC Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with all quality control activities.
- Ensure the maintenance and accessibility of all quality-related documents.
- Maintain systems to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
- Ensure that all records enable comprehensive traceability.
- Assist with coordination of customer validations.
- Assist with the calibration of all equipment related to quality.
- Perform daily QC inspection and release.
- Document and track quality-related matters, including problems, process failures, deviations from process specifications, preventive and corrective actions, customer complaints, audit non-conformances, and similar incidents.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented, with strong attention to detail
