The Role
  
As the QA Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and leading the Quality Management System to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products. You’ll oversee all QA functions, supporting the business in achieving its operational and strategic goals through effective quality assurance practices. You will also lead the implementation of corrective actions when necessary, ensuring that the highest standards are always met.
  
Key Responsibilities  
  • Lead and manage the quality assurance function, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System to ensure the highest levels of food safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, including Operations and Customer QA Teams, to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Oversee external audits and ensure the business meets customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the business on all QA-related matters, helping the company achieve both short-term and long-term goals.
  
Key Requirements  
  • 10+ years of experience in quality assurance. Preferably in meat or high care industries. 
  • Higher education in Food Science and Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing QA systems that meet customer standards in an audit environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results.
  • Ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, providing sound judgement and initiative.
