This is a role which will see you working across multiple brands and managing the end to end purchase order processes alongside local and international suppliers. There is a mix of short and long lead times, so the ability to check in throughout the timeframes and keep stakeholders informed will be critical to the success in the role.
Our client has a preference for their team to working 5 days a week in the office, so please be aware of this before applying for the role. There is always flexibility where required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end to end purchase order processes
- Engagement with both local and overseas suppliers
- Working alongside internal stakeholders to monitor and advise on key milestones through the lead times
- Monitor supplier performance from a purchasing viewpoint
- Work alongside purchasing manager to update SOP’s and systems
- Processing purchase order through internal systems
- Experience working in a similar role
- Experience working in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Business would be high advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines
- Experience communicating with a range of overseas suppliers and stakeholders
Salary for this role is in the range of $90,000 - $100,000 plus super. Please also note this when applying for the role.
