An opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Officer to support the CFO of a highly reputable property management business. This role is based in Kangaroo Point, Brisbane. 

Reporting to and working alongside the CFO, you will be responsible for working across the accounts receivable and accounts payable function, while working in a larger team of finance professionals. This role will allow you to be part of the full accounts processes including invoice processing, reporting, budgeting, debtor management and ad hoc finance support to the finance team. 

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to and supporting the CFO, this position is an integral role in the organisation and requires an organised, motivated and skilled Accounts Officer.
Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
  • Gaining necessary approvals for payments of invoices;
  • Reconciliations of balance sheet, general ledger and customer accounts;
  • Invoicing customers and sending out payment reminders; 
  • Prepare documents for banks;
  • Budget forecasting; 
  • Assisting with ad-hoc finance duties.

Skills and Experience

As the suitable candidate for this position, you will hold prior relevant and recent experience within accounts. 
  • Demonstrated experience or passion in property accounts;
  • High level of attention to detail;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite;
  • Ability to be organised and work autonomously; 
  • Excellent communication & problem solving skills;
  • Fantastic teamwork skills.
