About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working collaboratively among a close knit team, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Overseeing the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Managing outstanding invoices and liaising with clients to ensure prompt payment
- Reconciling accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and posted
- Preparing and issuing statements to customers as required
- Cultivating and maintaining customer relationships to support timely payments and address any queries
- Verifying invoices for correct documentation and necessary approvals before processing payments
- Managing weekly payment runs, ensuring compliance with payment terms
- Assisting with month-end accounts payable processes
- Providing support to the Finance team with various ad hoc tasks and projects
- Collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to meet business needs
About You:
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting principles, along with proven experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. You possess exceptional attention to detail and excel at managing financial transactions with accuracy. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with various teams to support the financial health and success of the organisation. The ideal candidate will bring a positive, reliable attitude, a collaborative approach, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced finance environment, along with excellent time management skills.
