Role & Responsibilities
 
As a Project Manager (Work Package Manager), you will be responsible for successfully delivering Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) application projects from Start-Up through to Closing, ensuring benefits are realised.
 
Key responsibilities
  • Planning and coordinating project activities to achieve project outcomes within budget and timeframes.
  • Managing risks, issues, change requests, and priorities.
  • Overseeing project budgets, finances, and resource allocations.
  • Producing and maintaining project documentation and schedules within an Agile, PRINCE2, and MSP governance framework.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Providing timely and accurate reporting on project progress.
  • Ensuring appropriate governance and assurance activities are in place.
Skills Required
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience leading and delivering large and complex ICT projects.
  • Strong background in software development project management.
Highly Desirable:
  • Experience in delivering multiple application / COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) projects within a complex Agile environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and other PPM tools.
  • Current and varied experience across both public and private sector
