In this position, our client is seeking a Production Planner to play a vital part in their supply chain. Your role will involve close coordination with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, sales, and stores, to balance production capacity with customer demand while maintaining high standards of efficiency and quality.
 
Reporting to the General Manager of Manufacturing and stationed at the manufacturing site, your responsibilities will involve:
 
The role:

• Develop and maintain the production schedule.
• Ensure schedules align with customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Adjust schedules in response to changes in demand, production delays, or supply chain disruptions.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to monitor production progress and address any issues that arise.
• Liaise with sales and customer service to provide accurate delivery timelines and manage expectations.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably in the manufacturing industry. 
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
