We have partnered with a market leading global manufacturer of polyurethane-based materials & synthetic turfing. Our client have a presence across multiple regions and have a major presence with some of the largest sporting events in the world.
The role
- Take a pro-active approach and take ownership of the procurement function
- Review, refine and implement category strategies with a 3-5 year plan in place
- Analyse external market trends and relay to internal stakeholders
- Run the end to end tender process and implement new contracts
- Define track and improve supplier KPI's
- Lead purchasing team of 2 and maintain positive internal relationships
About you
- Minimum of bachelors degree in relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a procurement role
- Exposure to chemical or plastic industry highly favourable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within Microsoft office suite
