About the Client
Our client is a diverse and leading Not-For-Profit organisation who provide support for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds across Victoria. With a supportive and nurturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational payroll team, ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time.
The Role
Reporting through to the Head of Payroll, your tasks will include:
- Managing a team of 4 Payroll Officers
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing of approximately 3500 employees
- Processing and calculating superannuation as well as PAYG
- Month/year end closing
- Assisting with key payroll projects
- Identifying process improvements
- Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
- Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
- Partnering and developing strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
- Working collaboratively and as a team across departments
Candidate Profile
You will have prior experience in a similar Payroll Team Lead position, along with the following attributes:
- High volume payroll experience within a medium / large scale business
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of multiple awards/EBAs
- High level analytical skills
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
