Our client is an outstanding ASX listed business who is currently looking for a talented and experienced Chris 21 System Lead. This is a 10 month fixed term contract role offering an outstanding opportunity to implement change and improve processes.
Position description
Reporting directly to the Group Payroll & Systems Manager and overseeing 1 Payroll System Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of Chris21
- Maintain and monitor integration between Workday & Chris21.
- Manage incidents, problems, and requests, resolving functional issues within agreed time frames.
- Update existing or create new Enterprise Agreements and/or Awards as required.
- Support the payroll operations team with the implementation of new payroll codes, leave types, and position management.
- Provide systems expertise and solutions to the payroll team.
- Ensuring a high level of data integrity is always maintained within the system.
- Ensure excellent customer service through the application of customer support skills, business, and technical knowledge.
- Responsible for monitoring and responding to relevant tickets submitted through Service Now
- Identify and address process inefficiencies, contributing to system enhancement.
- Create and maintaining appropriate system documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Manage UAT testing and deliver all system upgrades, new releases & relevant configuration changes required
The successful applicant will have
- Extensive knowledge of Chris21
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator in a large, complex organization.
- Substantial levels of comfort around interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements with complexity and ambiguity and how they apply in a shift-based workforce and providing advice on queries.
- Working knowledge of Australian employment and payroll legislation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and confidently with a diverse group including subject matter experts, managers and payroll staff to determine business requirements with a solution focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management skills
- Adaptable, positive can-do attitude, aptitude to positively influence others.
- Ability to work in a team with focus on providing excellent customer service.
