In a vitally important role, our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Operations Manager to oversee a large team. The Role

Reporting to the Head of Payroll and overseeing a high volume payroll, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading a large Payroll team to perform the timely and accurate processing of pay runs, ensuring compliance with applicable awards and legislation (5500+ employees)
  • Ensuring the Group meets all its statutory obligations with the Australian Taxation Office and State Revenue Offices;
  • Continuously developing payroll processes, ensuring best practice adherence.
  • Coordinate and sign off on all payroll related matters, including taxation, superannuation, payroll tax and other compliance activities.
  • Set up processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy across all payroll systems, processes and reporting.
  • Provide reporting to all stakeholders, including but not limited to finance, HR and retail operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team members ensuring they are developed both personally and professionally to delivery best practice payroll services.

Candidate Profile

You will have extensive experience in a hands-on payroll management role along with the following attributes:
  • High volume payroll experience within a medium - large scale business
  • SAP/SuccessFactors (EC/ECP) experience is essential for the role
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of multiple awards/EBAs
  • High level analytical skills
  • Project management skills and experience
