Our client is a well-known Not-for-Profit organization in Western Australia. They are currently seeking a Payroll Officer for an annual leave cover. The ideal candidate should have atleast 2 years of experience doing high volume payroll processing.
Position Description
Working within the finance team, your daily tasks will include:
- Processing large volume of payroll accurately and efficiently on a fortnightly basis, including calculations for terminations, super, PAYG, and deductions.
- Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring all changes and updates are accurately reflected in the payroll system.
- Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
- Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll, super, deductions, and leave.
- Other tasks as required.
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer position along with the following skills and attributes:
- Previous payroll experience, atleast 2 years in an end to end capacity
- High volume payroll processing experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience working in a large organisation
